Night-time diaper changes require light for a parent to see but turning on the room lights can also wake the baby – and we don’t want to wake the baby in the middle of the night. Additionally, mom (or dad) have their hands full carrying baby into the nursery when they are also half asleep!

How can we improve the experience of night-time changes for parents and at the same time make it easier and more comfortable for babies?

Solution

A task lighting system is seamlessly integrated into a comfortable EVA foam changing pad. Directing light where it’s needed.

Sensors detect when the baby is present and turn lights on automatically. They stay on while baby is on the changer. The sensors also know when the baby is gone and automatically fade off awaiting the next change!
