Consumer Insight
When driving, parents have no way to see their young child in a rear facing car seat. The back seat mirror was born. But the first versions of a mirror were crude and low quality. There was one instance of a mirror causing burns on the interior of a car.
Competition was cheap fabric sewn around cardboard as a frame. Mounting was inconsistent and not very secure.
